I'm easy to please...
When it comes to movies, I only want to be entertained. if it turns out to be "deep" that's just a bonus.
I've never given a movie less than a 5 - that being average out of the 10 possible stars. I gave this movie a 1. The acting was terrible and pulled me completely out of the story. Everybody was bad. Greg Evigan was the best actor out of the bunch!
I kept looking at Frank and thinking, "Oh, this must be some good looking wrestler that they've given his first acting gig to." I was very surprised to find out who he was and that he has experience that should've meant a better performance.
The actresses playing the prostitutes were also bad but the worst went to the actress playing Selina. In her scene where Frank pushed her against the wall and told her she can't help him defend against the bad guys - as she starts to cry about her rape and her children - her face looks midway through like she's thinking about her acting/facial expression, changes it midway through (you can almost see her thinking "Is this a good expression? Maybe I don't look pretty/ugly enough so I'll change it right now.". And then drop her head between her knees. yep, that's the solution when you need to hide what your face is not doing well.
The actors playing the bad guys were okay.
