What did he get pulled over for? I don't think the thieves would have called the cops. Was it for speeding? I guess it wasn't supposed to really matter, but it kinda bugged me a bit.

Cop may have seen the truck had no windshield.

I think the black market car shop must have had a deal worked out with the cops. It was right out there in the open, taking up a lot of space, so they probably had to pay off the cops to stay in business. And the cops would respond to their calls in order to keep the payoffs coming in. Just guessing.

As a native L.A. gal, cops here will pull one over if the car/truck looks questionable, or if the driver is of minority background- reality. Just routine.

So not true. I drove while mexican american in so cal for 15 years and was NEVER pulled over for that reason.

LOL Nice answer. A light could have been broken before or after they crashed through the fence. As for the windshield, it was night, how could they even tell t was out.

Is this a serious question? There are tons of reason to pull that truck over.

1. 10sec wait at the stop
2. No windshield
3. Tool mess at the back of the truck
4. Slow driving
5. No license plates
6. etc
