What Karl did WAS brave

I don't understand how the guys could think that wasn't risky. I'd be REAL hesitant to do that by myself.

I was saved by a bald man. Get my finest pig and mince the meant.

It was pretty brave; he had no clue how that guy was going to react. I would have just called the cops or something.

My favorite of Karl's bravery stories was one from the podcasts, where Steve asks him if he's ever done anything brave. Karl tells a story about when he was a kid at school, and a fellow classmate had an epileptic seizure and Karl tried to grab ahold of his tongue. However, he was unable to grab the tongue because the kid kept convulsing, so he just gave up and tried to make it look like he was trying to grab the tongue, when he wasn't actually trying. Steve points out, "Well firstly, I don't know why grabbing a tongue is brave. But even given that, you were thinking more about yourself in that situation than this poor kid!" And Karl replies, "Look, have you ever tried to grab a tongue? It's like chasin' a chicken. It's murder."

I agree. It was brave and selfless. I'm sure Ricky was just trying to antagonize him by not recognizing it, but out of all the people looking on who didn't do a thing, Karl did something real.
