I hate these pointless topics on every god damn message board concerning tv shows. Every tv show board is full of those "it's going downhill, it jumped the shark" whiny ramblings. What particulary annoys me is that regardless the quality of the show, there's always someone like you who feels the duty to ruin the moods of everyone who likes enjoying things.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not against criticing the show (after all it's a discussion board), but I can tolerate it as long as you have valid arguments. But you didn't deliver us any. How is it noticably weaker? Because you don't laugh AS MUCH? But you still laugh, don't you? Isn't it all that matters? Were you so annoyed by the fact that you DON'T LAUGH AS MUCH so bad that you've decided to make a whiny pathetic pointless post. Good job.
It seems like people like you are only bashing the show for the sake of bashing it, just to make the board a little more mean-spirited. Can't you just enjoy anything for what it is, instead of nitpicking everything for not being AS PERFECT AS YOU WANT it to be?

Well the material is taken from podcasts and much of the stuff this series is from the same 'Guide To's...' that much of the last series was taken from.
So it's not like this new material is the new stuff and is possibly worse than their old stuff, as it's from the same time.
When I listen to the podcasts I never think that any are better or worse than any other, it's all equally good but some things may make you laugh more than others.
I suppose they just happen to be using material that you don't find as funny but it's hard to say it's even possible that it's any weaker in truth because it's not a 'new series' in the usual way. I mean it can't have jumped the shark when it's all old material anyway and is mashed up.
Personally I've found the animation to be used even better this series and has been funnier for me.

Generally, it's not as interesting as or funny as before. And too many lull moments tbh.
It's nothing to do with it being more perfect or what.
In the first two series, there were hardly any boring "segments", now there's like only maybe 1 in the whole episode i actually like.
And the rest of the ep is just bollox.

As for the show, I'd say it's just as good. And as someone already said, it can't jump the shark since it's based on postcast that were recorded before the show started. Did you ever listen to the podcasts? It's just people talking. It's consistently enjoyable, because of the people. They don't try to be funny (especially Karl), they just talk whatever they feel like. How possibly could that jump the shark?
My guess is that the reason why you don't enjoy show anymore is because you simply lost interest, which means you weren't a big fan to begin with. Good. Go somewhere else now, don't bother us with your problems.
There's only one episode left anyway. Overall, the show had a great run.

And watched episodes on more than one occasions and still loved them.
