Another Karl Pilkington Idea Becomes a Movie

Anyone remember when Karl mentioned that he wanted to invent a watch that could count down a person's life, and went on to wonder about how it would account for unforeseen tragedies? Apparently Hollywood was wondering about that, too.

First we had 'The Curious Case of Benjamin Button' (okay, I know 'Benjamin Button' was written before Karl mentioned it, but humor me here, lol), and now we have 'In Time'. Anyone think we will see that Clive Warren and Rebecca Da Mornay movie come out soon? ;)

There was also an episode of the Medium where she could see numbers on people heads and the numbers were how many days they had left.

I thought the same thing. In Time.

Also the movie Source Code. In the Guide To... Series I believe he mentions a similar story.

I wonder what the Trio think of Rise of the Planet of the Apes. ALOT of what they talked about in Monkey News are themes in that film.

We can only hope that film sounds awesome.
A film where Rebecca De Mornay lezzes out cos she has half of Clive Warren's brain.
It's pure fried gold.

Jesus died for our sins. As he's already dead...sin away.

I love that all of Karl's movie ideas involve putting one person's brain into another person's body.

Although I'd love to see the Clive Warren movie, personally, I can't wait for the one about Mission Impossible 8.

TED DANSON as BRYAN as TOM CRUISE as ETHAN HUNT in MISSION IMPOSSIBLE 8!

I couldn't help thinking of Karl when watching Prometheus.

I remember Ricky talking to him about space flight and saying something to Steve like "He'd like to meet some aliens that can tell him stuff like they met God 'He was alright'".

Then there's the stuff about him saying the octopus looking like they're from another planet.

Only the closed mind is certain.

As kool as that is, they are just really basic story ideas that any Hollywood screenwriter could have thought of.

But hahah! Clive Warren, that was so *beep* funny.

reply

"Get me Clive Warren!" lol
