Season 3, episode 1.

The beginning killed me! Steve fighting with the chair, then saying hello when Ricky was introducing himself. Loved it.

I didn't like Karl's second movie idea as much as the one with Clive Warren, but when I watched it again a second time, it was awesome and deranged. Also loved Ricky and Stephen interrupting him about the biscuits and tea.

I laughed until I cried at the Ted Danson thing. It's amazing how Karl's mind "works".

Ted Danson playing someone that's not Ted Danson playing Tom Cruise.
It was a genius film idea.

The banter between the three have also really improved. Season 1 it was Ricky vs Karl with Stephen commenting. Season 2 Stephen got more on Karl. This time it seems pretty even. They have accepted Karl's views as Karl's views and Karl even fights back now.

Same here, I had forgotten how much I've missed this show. The banter between the three guys, Karl's imagination, and Ricky's laugh always kills me.

I wish it were more than 13 episodes (or, at the very least, more than 20+ minutes per episode), but I guess that has something to do with the contract between Gervais and HBO.

I mean, can you believe the second season finale was a bit over one year ago (April 15th, 2011)? I didn't even know a new season was airing until I looked at IMDb's show list.

For those of you who liked the Tom Cruise bit, you should check out the original, un-edited version on youtube. A lot of it was cut out due to time constraints on the show, and the extra context makes it even more hilarious! Especially the last part when Ted Danson is brought up.

The intro was a surprise and a treat. Wasn't expecting that. I'm not sure why I didn't skip it. Glad I didn't. Did any other episode have a unique intro?

Ted Danson as Bryan as Tom Cruise as Ethan Hunt in "Mission Impossible 8".
