Favorite Karl mannerisms/quirks?

I've always found it hysterical how Karl seems obsessed with insects and always attributes human characteristics to them. I also think it's hilarious that he often seems more concerned about the well-being of insects than he is about real world problems (such as the time when he intervened to prevent a wasp from fighting a cricket, or when he observed a fly being attacked by two other flies and almost immediately attempted to break up the fight).

He's a kind guy!

Can't pick a favourite at the moment, so many of them, but one thing he says/said a lot, in the same way all the time: "What do they DO." (regarding species that are not specifically helpful to humans)

Didn't he spend time rescuing inects from the swimming pool when he was on holiday....and he picks worms up from the path and puts them in a safe place. :)

He's a round headed bald twat on the outside, but a sweetheart on the inside

Yeah but he only saves them once. I lost it at that one. And thinking a stick bug was the reproductive product of a bug and a stick.

Haha yeah he loves insects but he hates slugs.. he said he'd jump into a salt pot if he'd been a slug, that was a laugh out loud moment for me.

As for my favourite mannerisms, I'd say his deadpan, and overall relaxed demeanour, I just love how nothing seems to worry him at all, I think in his real life he is a happy person, just living a simple life with Suzanne, reading funny news and observing insects.

Oh and also his Manc accent is funny (he says 'sloogs' not slugs haha)

My apiarist owes me a favour.

And the way he adds "right?" to just about every declarative sentence for, like, punctuation, though as an American I here a lot of this going on amongst Brits.
