How spontaneous / re-enacted is this show?

I love this show beyond words, but when listening to the older radio version (pre-podcast) it appears some bits have been repeated. It makes me question how genuine some of Ricky and even Karl's responses are.

There's nothing wrong, imo, with recreating certain moments so a neew audience can experience them with correct audio levels and such. It just slightly undercuts the randomness and unpredictability of the show.

Still brilliant and majorly missed.

they do definitely retread some things but tbh its more a prod in the direction of them rather than scripting, also there are some moments you can tell they have genuinely forgotten...you have to consider that a lot of karls weirdness was lost amongst everything else going on at xfm or either talked about before ricky and steve knew what they had on their hands

so yeah nothing to be overly concerned about imo mate

i have a ten minute posting quota because I called the imdb staff scumbags

i came across the animated series first when the podcasts were adopted for HBO in the US. That lead me back eventually to the full broadcasts on Youtube. My two favorite imports are this and Q.I.

check out "King of the Hill" from Mike Judge for an almost American equivalent of TRGS.
