What are two crusaders (from the 1100s?) doing in China?

Am I missing something? What crusade are they partecipating in and how do they end up all the way in China?

reply

They're likely participating in any of the crusades that took place in the 12th century.

Here's a list: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:12th-century_crusades

Also, Europeans had traveled to China by the 12th century. Marco Polo didn't discover Asia. Don't believe everything Netflix tells you.

I was asking in case someone had already seen the movie and actually knew the details I was curious about.

I thank you for your comment but it adds very little in terms of movie related facts.

They went East, because "No-one goes East"...

Is that an actual line from the movie?

My guess is that when Crusaders deserted , they always ran to china , because it doesnt have christian or jewish religions , lol . For more details , check this : http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1552224/board/thread/234354331

Also in the Dragon Blade movie , Romans invade china . Next the chinese writers will made up something like Native Americans or Australians invade china , lol .
