I've seen movies that are far worse than TLDOAC. Yet everyone is trashing this as is this is the worst movie ever made. I was shocked that this got a 0% on rotten tomatoes. I would say it should get a 30 - 50% rating. I also think IMDB should have it as a 5 - 6 rating. Does anyone else agree?

shareBut it wasn't that good...............It had all the pieces in place, but was too long, too many plot issues (like the end, where the police in Canada didn't bother to chase the truck), and needed to fix the pacing a bit. A shame, since as I said, there were some interesting bits.
shareYeah, I would give it a 5 or 6. I agree with diagoro that it could have benefited from some editing to bring down it's running time.
For example, the whole side plot with Sharlto Copley amounted to absolutely nothing. He's literally off in another movie somewhere doing not much until he enters the main movie for exactly one scene with the girl. Wut?
At least we didn't have the cliche ass-kicking waif which is typical of these European thrillers (although filmed in South Africa).

4-5 out of ten sounds about right to me.
Agreed it was OK and certainly doesn't deserve the rating. It's much too long and a generic action movie 5/10 seems about right. There are certainly way worse movies.
