Am I the only person that can't stand Kent? His character came out of nowhere (I understand why he is 'working' with Maura) and it wasn't needed to the plot. The only thing he's really done is cause Susie Chang's death (he didn't kill her but I'm pretty sure they brought him in when they thought of killing her off) and kiss Maura (which was really awkward. Anyone else?
shareYou're not the only one, really don''t like him he is a waste of screen time. His job placement was supposed to be for six months hopefully he will be gone soon. Though he should have been fired for sexual harassment when he grabbed and kissed Maura.
Unless he is the person behind Maura's kidnapping there really is no reason for his character to be introduced, (and I really hope he isn't a love interest for either Jane or Maura).
Well you won't have to worry about him much longer now anyway.
I like him. I think he brings some strange comic humor to the ME dept. Plus he gets on Jane's nerves, which I think is a hoot.
I have a feeling he's Jane's stalker. He's creepy enough to raise a red flag.

shareCan I admit that I still don't trust him? Like, he just seems a bit unstable sometimes and I just feel like there is more to his story. Yeah, he's weird, but he just seems like this square peg in a round hole and I can't put my finger on why I don't really like him. He has gotten "better", but still very feels like he doesn't "belong". They just kinda forced him on us and he never really seems to "get it". He was too arrogant when he first got there and now he's just annoying.
sharewell...I do appreciate that Kent is so caring towards Maura, I like him in this season so far when he has shown that he does care for Maura very much and is so willing to help her and assist her in her recovery. And it doesn't feel "forced" to me at all, he does not seem like he's just helping her because he feels he "needs" to because she is his boss and he is her assistant, it seems to me that Kent genuinely cares about Maura very much and he genuinely wants to help her recover like a true friend would, and I really appreciate him for that. Kent has also shown to be patient with Maura while she's suffering these little memory losses, he's not trying to push her in any way to recover nor is he trying to make things worse for her. He's just being a caring and supportive friend to Maura now during a time when she needs it.
I used to be indifferent towards Kent, but now he's starting to grow on me and his genuine care and support for Maura makes him a likable character to me. I don't know if it's just me but, I have a feeling that the writers MIGHT make Maura & Kent a couple by the end of the season...I would like that idea, we all know Maura has been very unlucky when it comes to love, and since this will be the last season ever for this show, I think it would be nice for Maura to find love again by the end of the show, and I think Kent is a good choice for her, they seem to gel together well, at least to me.
