My opinion:

Jane's dress showed too much cleavage
Maura's dress with its side boobs just made me want to cringe

However, the bride's dress was beautiful and tasteful.

Yes, women have boobs. I think IMDb board has a minimum age of 13 years old, so how did you live 13 years on this planet without knowing that women have boobs. Were you raised in a monastery?

Since you were raised without this critical knowledge, let me tell you something else you need to know along with women have boobs. It's that's there's a time and place in which to display those boobs and being guests at that wedding wasn't it.

In "The "wedding" thread here, another member mentioned the dress was completely out of character for Jane, as Maura had tried to get her to wear girly things before and Jane had always refused.

True, but continuity went out of the window when Nash and Angie decided Jane should wear that horrible yellow rag in whatever episode that was. Jane has long stopped being Jane. It's a shame.

Both actresses plus Rizzoli's Mom have displayed their assets many times in the past.

I'm guessing most clothes on TV shows are sent by clothing companies, to show people what they should be buying this season. I guess they wanted to sell those wedding dresses. And cleavage!
