Bruce McGill

I love Jane and Korsak partnership, of course not like Jane and Frost, but does anyone remember him when he was in MacGyver? Very different characters. Also when he was in Runaway Jury.

Rizzoli & Isles airs in syndication where I am on the weekends after SNL on one NBC channel and 2 hours after on another. The first episode See One, Do One, Teach One is on now and Bruce McGill sounds different then he does later on in the series.

I got to see him on Broadway in the 80's. He's my favorite part of the show.

Big MacGyver fan - he played loveable rogue Jack. I also recently saw him in an old episode of Walker - played a nasty character in that one

Don't forget his short but impressive stint in "The Insider".
WIPE THAT SMIRK OFF YOUR FACE!

You are an ant in the afterbirth.

My Cousin Vinnie! He was the cop.

Syndication is notorious for using time compression to speed up shows in order to squeeze in more commercials. Basically they speed up the shows slightly. Usually it's not noticeable, but it seems to affect some voices more than others. This can make the pitch of an actor's voice sound "off".

It's possible that they play the current episodes normally and speed up the older ones.

I noticed that too. In the first few episodes, he tries on a 'Boston' accent. He loses it later on.

He was also in one of the best episodes of Miami Vice, Out Where the Buses Don't Run (S2, E3). He did a great job playing a retired cop who can't forget the one bad guy who got away. Epic ending as well.
