Good movie
It reminded me a bit of Kenneth Branagh's "Dead Again", the way that reincarnation is an opportunity to right wrongs of the past. Except that this isn't a thriller, it's a drama which follows the universal fears of losing love, making the wrong choices in life, dealing with consequences, and accepting what cannot be changed. As much as I like Atom Egoyan, I have to admit that the best Canadian films made these days are being made in Quebec, where a faithful audience and support for good films gives its filmmakers a chance to better fulfill their creativity on the screen than in the rest of Canada.
