This will be a huge hit!

Amy Heckerling is one of the most under-appreciated female directors/writers out there. She is a gifted comedy writer and she always has a unique perspective on life. Clueless was beautifully written satire on 90's teen culture while Fast Times At Ridgemont High offered insight to the awkwardness of teenage life. Alicia Silverstone, while somewhat of hasbeen, still has a very loyal fanbase. Many people still genuinely like her. I can't say the say for other female teenybopper stars of the past, with exception of Molly Ringwald. She, along with Ringwald, are a rarity in the industry. Sigourney Weaver is a great actress as well. Like Meryl Streep and Diane Keaton, she has stood the test of time and has managed to remain successful.

Well, I personally have a feeling that this movie will bomb.

I agree with the OP. It may not be the biggest hit of 2011 but may be almost up there as The Devil Wears Prada was for 2006.

I think it's too soon to tell. We need at least a trailer to give a good prediction, and the movie hasn't even started filming yet. I like Heckerling a lot and will probably always have a thing for Silverstone because she was cute in Clueless, but personally, I think the premise sounds really stupid. I'm sick of this vampire mania. It's just overdone now. They'd have to really put a new spin on this and make it different to make it work. A lot of these other vampire knock offs that have been riding on the Twilight-mania have basically bombed or not been very good. And they should change the title. Sounds bland and uncreative.

You know a horror genre is over and done when it gets done up all cute and fuzzy like "Abbott and Costello Meet's Frankenstein" took out the 1930's-40's Vampire movies and "Love at First Bite" or "Once Bitten" ended the 1950-80's Vampire movies. If this isn't then end it is a sighn of the times. I the next time they rise from the dead, and to quote the trailer to Hammer's "Dracula Has Risen From the Grave", "You can't keep a good man down"; I hope they give us Vampires with some guts and not just a bunch of pouting teen angst.
