Why all the Vampire comedies?

Why doesn't anyone ever consider that making the Vampire Chonicle books of Anne Rice into movies is a better answer to the Twilight movies then an endless parade of vampire comedies?

I know making a parody on other people's works is way easier then coming up with something good and original.

"Then" is usually used in a temporal context.

"Than" is the word you need to use for a comparative context, which is the case in both your sentences up there.

I know you're gonna work hard on that...I just know.
