Michelle Pfeiffer turned the role down of Ciccerus in this movie. Sigourney Weaver ended up doing it. Michelle was in Amy Heckerling's film, "I Wish I Could Be Your Woman" which was actually quite good, but went straight to DVD also due to lack of financing distribution.
