I'm almost done re-watching the 1987 series, and I don't remember seeing any mutant pizza, bananas or bowling balls :S

They were just poking fun at the cartoonish and silly villains of the 87 series.

And those were olives.

Basically yellow Xenomorphs. But they started out as pizzas.

Basically yellow Xenomorphs. But they started out as pizzas.

They weren't originally Pizzas, they were aliens. They're creatures from dimension X. They were eggs that looked like meatballs and were put on the pizzas by Krang, and they grew into large aliens once the Pizzas got heated. But they were never pizzas...
