I highly recommend you watch it. While it is set in the Batman universe, any connection to the movie is minimal — and that’s a good thing. This series surpasses the movie by a staggering margin, in every conceivable way. Colin Farrell delivers a performance so extraordinary, it rivals Heath Ledger’s Joker, and dare I say it, might even surpass it. Truly, this show is on an entirely different level.

I would actually agree with you to an extent — I found the first couple of episodes boring and had to force myself to keep watching. However, by the end, I was impressed by how good it turned out to be. The last two episodes were amazing, and Colin Farrell's performance absolutely blew me away.
shareGood we don't need people with shit taste supporting it. Leave the quality products to people who have taste. Matt Reeves Batman is the definitive take on live action Batman.

Did Schumacher's films get the critical reception Matt Reeves films did? Nope! The Batman didn't just make money, it was a hit critically and by the mass majority. The Schumacher films only made money nothing more. You choke on facts buddy boy. You don't need to see it to choke on facts.
