Good show
This show was really enjoyable for the most part. I was a bit skeptical at first, however it's a good show.
Colin Farrell as Oswald/The Penguin was inspired casting. He was phenomenal. He deserves all the plaudits and more. It's great to see The Penguin have his own show, even though it's a mini-series.
Cristin Milioti did not work for me. As a boss lady, she was not convincing at all, and at times her acting was off. Either she was trying to hard, or she did not sell the scene. One episode dedicated to her character at Arkham was a complete waste. There was also way too much screen time for her character. I know that's how they wrote the story, but it was still a waste.
Some of the sound editing was way off. Some of the music was just way too loud, as one example. Also, way too much swearing.
Victor as the Puerto Rican side-kick to Oswald, was to be fair, a token racial casting. What's wrong with Oswald having a white side-kick ?
I liked Oswald's mother. And seeing that family life was good. The child playing kid Oswald did a really good job.
This was a good show, and a nice tie-in to the next Batman film, with a nice little easter egg right at the end.
