One Of James Francos best movies. Reminds me of Cast Away
The film is terrific with a great deal of thanks being handed to both James Franco for his excellent performance, and Danny Boyle's stellar direction from the guy who gave us Slumdog Millionaire. The acting blended so well with the cinematography, scenery, and music, all of which ultimately made me believe that I was there the whole time. This film was essentially a one man show like Cast Away for the most part with Franco struggling to cope with the situation that he's in and him finding the will to survive which provides for an uplifting finale.
You guys should check out the marathon I did with The Grey, Cast Away, 127 Hours, and Life Of Pi titled When Survival Becomes A Journey. You can check it out on my blog.
