I give it a 10, because of the hand cutting scene & the sound.

Well that scene (the only violent scene in the movie) I would rate a 10 too, cos it was so hard to watch mainly thanks to Franco's great acting. He looked physically ill and it made me really feel his pain
share10? Pfft, the sound of the nerve being severed was the most volatile thing to watch but as far as gore? I would give it a 7. Watch movies like Watchmen where they use a chainsaw to cut a mans hands off. You can see the bones and everything... thats a 10.

Considering Dexter pointed out you could hear the nerves being severed, saying this scene is more "unnerving" Babu would be correct lol
shareThe nerve cutting part was what got me too.. Could just imagine how awful that would have been. The rest of it wasn't so gory considering the subject matter

share8 or 9. I had open heart surgery 4 years ago and viewed several YouTube videos of the procedure beforehand. It takes quite a lot to faze me nowadays.
