If we want our country to work again we need to re-establish the press as a thing again and let it rip. That probably means taking the profit, and the billionaires out of the news media and making it operate in the public interest again.

too many newspapers are owned by big business sad because it used to be if you wanted the truth you read a newspaper, now you have to wonder if they just print what the boss wants

They always did ... we never hear anything unless someone wants to pay for it ... it is just that in this day and age there are so few entities that can put out messages, and none of them are of the people.
