would you spend the night in a supposedly real haunted house or woods?

There are thousands of supposedly haunted hot spots around the world. Haunted houses that have the spirits of people murdered in them, haunted jails that have long dead prisoners walking the corridors at night and so on.

The thing is Im sure a lot of not most of them are a combination of urban legends, people lying to increase tourism or whatever and people hearing or seeing natural things - old houses make heaps of creaky noises - and assigning a supernatural cause to it. But some are still unexplained.

So would you spend all night in a supposedly haunted woods like this or a haunted insane asylum like in grave encounters? Knowing that we are in the 'real' world, not a movie one, where haunted stuff doesn't happen

I wouldn't. Not even if you paid me. Call me a coward all you want, if I was alone in a supposedly haunted woods or house every noise I heard I would be convinced was a ghost and I would die of fright even if nothing supernatural even happened.

One thing I have learned is that normal non threatening things like schools and shops become creepy when they are deserted at night. Walk around a school at night by yourself in the dark and it just seems... Weird - a place that is normally full if laughter and jokes being dead silent.

So I would not even if you paid me. What about you?

Assuming this is in our reality, and I'm being paid, I absolutely would.

I think the supernatural makes for great entertainment, but when it comes to reality I simply to not believe in the supernatural, or paranormal.

reply

Unless it in the middle of winter during a blizzard, just tell me who is paying.

reply

I would, in a heart beat. Don't need to be paid, just give me the keys, a bag of Utz and a pint of scotch.

reply

Yes.

And I have.

And nothing happens except for every once and a while you hear a weird noise you can't immediately explain and get paranoid for a few minutes before figuring out a fairly rational explanation and calming back down.

reply

And everyone who said yes must be white people, whoever paid you to do this is prolly the one who gunna *beep* with you, or worse kill you So it seems that this place you slept in is really haunted or etc. Me *beep* that I'm ?

reply

I think I can speak for everyone when I say we said yes under the assumption that the conditions were safe in context to a hypothetical question.

reply

Just debating here so don't take this the wrong way but wasn't the question would you spend the night in a supposedly real haunted house or woods??,so the conditions wouldn't be safe if it was real.

reply

Its so funny how black people always are boo hooing about how white people are racist yet they are the first to bring up race totally out of context for no reason during a conversation about staying in a haunted house.

reply

yup i would probably eat a bunch of lsa or mushrooms :D
