About what the writer said *Spoilers*

Regarding what the writer said on Twitter about us not actually seeing the Witch, but it being something else - wonder what he meant? I guess the obvious theory is that what we saw was Elly Kedward, which ISN'T the witch - I guess that would mean Elly Kedward is just another pawn of the Blair Witch's.

It's honestly a shame that this movie didn't do great at the box office because there is alot of mythology left to explore. I hope, if they do another sequel, that they don't start going down the route of the Paranormal Activity franchise and churn out meaningless movie after meaningless movie. I think I'd only want this franchise to continue if the movie in question meant something and actually expanded the mythology without it losing all of its mystery.
