I would love to see a blair witch movie that isn't found footage

I truly am so worn out with the found footage thing, I thought the first movie was ok.. It wasn't the first movie to use the found footage style, but it did make it popular unfortunately.. it can be done right but it's not easy, one example of a movie that I think did it right was V/H/S ( the first one, not the second one ) ..

If this was made into an actual horror movie that wasn't designed to look like camcorder footage but actually a proper movie then I think I'd be interested in revisiting it .. I know they tried with Book of Shadows but that felt like they put very little effort and just used the fame of the first movie to make some cash..

I agree.... But I hated when the first Blair Witch came out also. It started an AWFUL trend with the home movie look movies.
It's even worse when they use well known actors for events that they never lived.

I love American Horror Story (most seasons anyway) but now they are doing that stuff with Season 6. I can't help but laugh when I view the scenes using well known actors doing "Dramatic Reenactments" of other well known actors discussing thier experience that they did not actually go through lol.
I hated Blair Witch but at least they used people we didn't know.
