I've not seen the movie, only the trailer
When the girl is trapped in the hole, is it her camera filming her when she gets stuck? And does she have a camera on her back filming her legs splashing in the water?
shareI don't recall seeing her legs, but I saw the movie almost a month ago now. But she kept pushing Lane's DV camera in front of her in the tunnel to use its light to see.
Edited to add- I somehow blanked on you saying you just saw the trailer and not the movie... So I'll explain what happened in the movie: When she gets pushed into the hole, she gets stuck with an older model camera that has a light mounted on it. As she tries to make her way through the tunnel, she uses the camera's light to see, which is why there's footage. She just happens to be in some of the shots while she's moving the camera. It makes sense in the movie, in the trailer I was worried she was pulling like a scared selfie thing.
TL,DR: I want ice cream.
She doesn't get Lane's camera until she comes out the other side.
What happens in the tunnel is she throws her head cam in front of her to see and it gets turned around, thus filming her crawling forward toward it.
