I am sorry I know IMDB ratings can be rated by multiple accounts real and fake ones and this is why I have last faith on this site. There are so many crap movies that have come out have higher ratings.
shareHorror movies tend to get lower scores. It's a genre-wide thing.
With that in consideration, 5.4 is probably too high.

At any rate, I think a 5.4/10 is fair for this film. It was not memorable outside of the haunted house rollar coaster at the end, and re-writing the existing lore for dumb shock value in this film was a bad call.
If you look at the ongoing thread in this forum called "3 questions", you'll find that most of the people who responded rated it between a 4 and 6, which is consistent with the imdb rating.
