Is it better than the Book of shadows 2000?

I think it is. I didn't hate Book of Shadows but I preferred the original storyline much more. This one follows (some would say mimics) it much closer. There were a couple of characters in BoS that I really enjoyed, however.

Yes it's better but that's not saying much since BoS is embarrassingly terrible. This movie is still forgettable though. Imo

Yeah but Book of Shadows was so awful, it set the bar seriously low. Didn't take much to be better than that.

I doubt it. BOS gets a bad wrap because of the shaky cam/found footage lovers, but it's actually a great film.
