What does the Blair Witch look like?
I hear that you see the thing for a number of frames in the movie. Does anyone have a screen shot?

shareYou get a brief glimpse of her standing next to a tree. She is a long limbed creature. You don't get enough of a good look at her to really tell.

shareIt is the witch. Just because the writer said it wasn't afterwards to avoid a fan backlash doesn't make it not the witch.
shareToo contradictory to the the witch.
shareNot at all contradictory. She looks exactly like someone left to die on a makeshift rack would look like.
shareNo she doesn't. Dying on the rack doesn't make your bones or limbs stretch. It breaks the tendons and ligaments (maybe) but you'd die of exposure long before that.
That's what makes it even more stupid.
Everything about the movie was stupid but clearly that was the intent. That story was specific and they were clearly going for long limbs related to her death.
shareIt's the witch. They literally tell you her limbs were stretched out when they hung her. The creature you see is literally stretched by their limbs. 100% the witch.
shareNo screen shot? Not phone pic?
shareAnn Coulter.
shareYou see a creature in the film. Presumably it's the witch. But it doesn't look as described in the first film, i.e. A really hairy woman. Kinda disliked that they didn't follow that lore.
shareanyone listen to the commentary track yet? the directors basically came out and said that they never intended to reveal any answers or show the blair witch. the problem is you name the movie 'Blair Witch' and the audience expects that. but even though they don't tell you what it is, it seems like they're saying it's Eileen Treacle. The little girl who drowned who has undergone some kind of change. it's supposed to be connected to what happens to that black girl while crossing the river. She pulls out some roots out her leg. they joke early in the film that they didn't mention Eileen Treacle enough like they should have. then later they bring her up two more times, especially at the end. They keep stating in the making of features that it's not. they believe that the blair witch is something that should never be seen.
