This movie suffers a case of "The Matrix Reloaded"

It over-explains what was established and implied in the first movie. The final scene in the house with the monster was like the Architect in TM Reloaded

I agree. It took everything the original did right and completely reversed it. It removed all of the subtext and the fear of the unknown and interpreted so literally that the story of the Blair Witch became irrelevant. It was like Justin Bieber covering John Lennon.

Perhaps, but at least the characters in BWP were actually out there experiencing their terror. It Matrix, it was all in Keanu's head as he lied down peacefully and had some thoughts.
