Every bit as dumb as you suspect it is...
What more can I say? Why they keep making these is beyond me. I guess people are paying to see them on a big enough scale to keep justifying more of them. But all they're doing is taking basic elements of the original & ruining it. Same predictable story, new faces (& unconvincing acting).
Like another thread suggested, I do hope this marks the end of "found footage" horror. Its played out now.
