How could anyone waste so much potential to make a great horror movie?
This movie had:
1) one of the most upsetting and disturbing settings, the wood;
2) an already established legend in cinema by the first film, which became a horror classic;
3) the budget which exceeds the budget of the first Insidious (which was like 100 times more spectacular and visual appealing than this) for almost 4 *beep* times.
And yet, they've made a cliched, rushed, sometimes boring, sometimes messy, inconsistent film which on 4/5 copies the original one, with one of the most clunkiest CGI in horrors EVER!
Bravo, Adam Vingard! Now I know that waiting for your Death Note will most likely be a wasted time.
Nolan, I love you forever!share
