Black guy dying first

When people write stuff like "Of course the black guy died first" etc. I have a feeling that they didn't watch that many horror movies, it really does say more about the person stating something like that than the movie itself.

Or they just were incredibly lucky when they were picking horror movies to watch.

Yeah, but Asley was one of the "blacks" to die last, so at least we're making progress. LOL

reply

After watching this pile of garbage, he should consider himself lucky that he doesn't didn't have to suffer through the rest of the film

This movie suuuuuuuccckkked

Cliche

This is the exact type of horror movie that the original Scream movie made fun of

reply

Yeah, I remember thinking "Seriously??? You're seriously going with a well known cliche???". Strange choice and a poor one considering he was the only likeable character.

reply

Did you watch the same film as I did. I wanted him to die 2nd because I hated his character. Coincidentally, I wanted Ashley to die first because of her constant whining.

So, you have a gammy foot, which you 'might' lose if we get out of this alive. But, you know what... I lost my sister. But, Noooooooooo, it's only your foot that matters, right?

Did you read my post? It' well known, sure, but it rarely happens in horror movies. I don't know where that whole "black guy always dies first in horror movies" thing started, but it's not true, at all.

OF COURSE BLACKS ALL WAYS DIE FIRST THERE'S A UNWRITTEN LAW THAT YOU SHOULD TRIM THE FAT OFF THE CAST AS QUICK AS POSSIBLE AND PUT THE MAIN CHARACTERS IN HARMS WAY AND KILL OFF SOME OF THE USELESS BLACK CHARACTERS FIRST SO THAT THE AUDIENCE CAN FEEL EXCITEMENT WITHOUT FEELING SORRY FOR A USELESS CHARACTER, ITS GENIUS AND PLUS WE ALL KNOW " BLACK LIVES DON'T MATTER"🇺🇸=

reply

Canadian Bacon, Evolution, Scream 2 all had scenes where black characters complain about black characters dying first in movies. While there's definitely examples and examples where thats not the case at all, it's a known cliche.

reply

Yes, it's a known cliche, but it's also wrong, since it really doesn't happen so often so those scenes where the characters complain about that sort of thing are kind of funny, they're esentially nitpicking.
