Great movie. You really fall in love with Abbie Cornish's character

Shame the modern story is considered a weak subplot. I really liked it!

I enjoyed the modern story as well... loved the romance with the modern Wally and Evgeni... very romantic!

I liked it.. it could have been elaborated a little more but I think the message got across.

The modern story WAS weak and uninteresting, and a big waste of screen time. The screenwriter would've done much better to have stuck to the historical figures ... and included a bit more factual information rather than messing around with the timeline and other facts.

Totally agree! Wallis was interesting enough to fill 2 hrs without this pathetic moon faced Abby Cornish.

I thought Abby Cornish was great. Loved her in "Limitless" too :-)

I loved the modern story - i actually liked it just as much as the royal story. I came on here and was a bit surprised about the hate the modern story was getting. I think it was very moving and very sexy and i liked how abbie cornish's character was so obsessed about Wallis and her things and her thoughts, etc. Maybe because i've gone through phases of being very "into" a certain musician or movie or time-period so i kind of related to her? sometimes you just get wrapped up in something that strikes your fancy and it takes over for a bit and then eventually fades away....

A chat with you and somehow, death loses its sting.....

She s the Reason I wach this Film! After , I found out this film is something because directed by The Madonna but really it doesnt matter. I liked it
