Watched it. Don't waste your time (Spoilers)

I gave this a watch with the kids last night growing up watching Family Matters and thought it would be fun. Instead, it's a boring and uninspired movie made to cash in on Urkel's name.

First off, the whole movie has a weird liberal/PC slant to it. It's supposed to be a Christmas movie, but it probably had more references to Hanukah and Kwanza than it did Christmas. It's the whole Happy Holidays thing where they can't risk offending anyone for not including their Holiday and forced diversity for the sake of it. There is also a weird jab at Fox News that comes out of nowhere. Lastly, they made Santa a gay black yeti (I'm not joking) and they have a song that's about people not believing Santa is a Yeti, but it's clearly supposed to be subtext for him being black.

Jaleel White struggles to do the Urkel voice here and the songs are terrible and forced. The plot is something you'd see on an episode of a Cartoon Network show stretched out to an hour and a half. Was nice to see a 2D animated movie again, but even then the animation here wasn't that great. Ended up being a waste of our evening and even my kids seemed bored by it. 2/10
