So is this movie going to be forgotten?

Good god I hope not. Whether it's one more trip around the film festivals or at least one more attempt to show the general public, it'll be a damn shame if this movie's fate is to live underneath the radar for time to come

Unless the director decides to make more movies. I can live with that at least

Yeah man it'll be a shame if this turns out to be a lost film...I'm hoping it'll at least get enough attention to earn the title of being a cult classic

there isn't much to remember, so...

Unfortunately I'm afraid that this unique and fantastic film will be forgotten.
It is too "weird" for mainstream and does not easily fit in with the rest of the genre cinema. Plus, there is a healthy dislike for this movie, strictly on the basis of it's pacing. Instead of trying to figure out what the film is trying to say, most people get upset over the absence of car chase scenes.
So will BTBR be forgotten? I think so. There is a small following for this movie(me included), but it's just not enough to bring this cinematic poem into the future. People will rediscover it from time to time, but that's about it.

PS: The video release could have used Director's commentary. Behind the scenes footage must have been fascinating.

Hell yeah. The production values make it hard to believe that this was shot for about a million. Unbelievable. I would love for a director's commentary behind this trip of a film.

I also wonder if it was shot on film or digital

It may become a forgotten film, but it will always be cherished by me. A directors commentary would have been fantastic. Of course the lack of answers to everything only keeps the mystery there.

However, it's not like I actively try to show it to all my friends. It is one of those oddball movies that I can't get enough of but hide the fact from everyone else.
