A little bit of Kubrick, a little bit of argento, and a dash of Lynch
This movie seemed like a mixture of Kubrick (one point perspective), Argento (lighting), and a lot of David Lynch (WTF story).
Unfortunately, the sum of the parts was less than the whole. Kinda like mixing bacon, cake, and pork chops.
Definitely a fine example of an environmental movie and it evoked a lot of weird vibe, but holy crap did the director tell everyone to act in slow motion. Was there even an attempt to edit this movie for pacing?
