My dog turned this on last night...

My wife and I were watching some reruns of Arrested Development last night, and she passed out through the 2nd episode. We were watching them via Netflix on the Wii, and when it finished, since she was asleep, I retired to the other room to look some stuff up on amazon and tweak my netflix queue a bit. Since the house was dead quiet, I had become used to the silence over the course of 20 minutes or so.

Out of nowhere, I hear this quiet srart to an increasingly loudy sound that can only be compared to what a panic siren sounds like when a natural or chemical disaster starts, and the horn would warn citizens of the town of whatever impending disaster may ensue. So I process this sound, and get terrified. I know that while the tv in the bedroom is ON, Netflix is idle, and my wife is dead asleep. Then I can hear bits and pieces of other sounds, maybe even some talking, and I get full on terrified. I slowly and cautiously paced my way over to the bedroom to discover one of my pugs has laid down on the Wii remote, and somehow randomly selected "Beyond the Black Rainbiow"(as it was nowhere in my queue).

Needless to say I was relieved the world wasn't ending, but couldn't stop laughing at the sight of one of my dogs half holding a wii remote and staring blankly into the tv with one HELL of a strange movie on. I've decided I need to watch this movie now, even if it's terrible. Maybe my dog knows something I dont.
