I keep seeing Cronenberg, Kubrick and Lynch comparisons, that is just insane. Yes he bites from those guys, but just the style. They would never put out a movie with no plot.
I wanted to like this movie. FFS I am Canadian and go out of my way to support Canadian movies. I even watched it while tripping, thought it would be trippy. In fact drugs are mentioned by many people as an influence, what an insult to drugs.
Watching someone take 5 minutes to take a step just doesn't do it for me. This movie is slow, pointless, and at the end it was a joke just how bad it was. This movie is trying (hard) to be a cult classic, it is not and never will be. I like movies where things happen, nothing happens in this. I have seen some bad cinema so I can't call it the worst, but it is one of them. I just hope it wasn't funded by Telefilm Canada AKA my tax dollars.
If you like this movie you are nouveau art fag film poseur/follower who likes things because they are supposed to. This film has almost no merit. I almost always agree to disagree about art and accept everyone has different tastes but I do not believe you people actually like this garbage. It looks good but that is it. A 4/10 and that's is being generous. Seriously every other film in the trippy movies thread on this board (and I have seen almost all of them) are much much better.

I agree I was like WTF WTF WTF all the way through this movie not to mention how boring it was. I was glad when the credits rolled !

The movie really drags, I'm halfway into it and I think I'm kindof getting the drift but man is it slow. Tea time and to be continued...

I think this film would be the LAST thing to garner enough mainstream popularity to persuade people that they should love this film for the sake of being a follower. If anything, the people that really like this film are in the minority (myself included).
