Clara made no sense...

Two huge things I didn't get it that seem to have could've avoided all their troubles:

1- Why didn't Clara destroy, bury or hide the bodies of people she killed? The guy she decapitated obviously wouldn't have burned entirely and someone passing by would report a fire. Guy on the beach and teacher on the piano... um they're going to get discovered and youll be tracked if you just leave them out in the open. How did she not have enough common sense to just cover her tracks?

2- Why not just tell Eleanor that they'll be literally killed if she goes around telling people the truth about them being vampires? She knew she was being pursued by dangerous men. Why not just tell Clara so she'd understand the situation and wouldn't going around making things more unsafe for them?

Maybe i missed something, but it seemed like simple issues were overlooked completely.

#2, i feel like this is answered by thinking about their mother/daughter relationship. tons of daughters hide things from their mothers, miscommunicate, or don't communicate at all. yeah it would have been way more reasonable to just talk, but their relationship is just like a lot of mother/daughters i know, myself included. there was a time when i was 16 and never talked to my mom. and made things difficult because i wouldn't tell her things. and #1, yeah i feel like she should have known better to hide the bodies! -Happy movie watching

I think Eleanor is actually fully aware of the consequences of revealing what they are. She's just sick of hiding.

1) How exactly do you propose she do that? She isn't a professional killer or something that should gift her the knowledge of how to dispose of a body.

2) Because she wanted her to think they were alone. If she knew there were others she may have gone looking for them.
