Ben-Hur, Casablanca, E.T., Braveheart, The Wizard of Oz, Star Wars, Titanic, North by Northwest, The Human Centipede II (Full Sequence), Gone with the Wind. All classic films that belong in the hearts and minds of the masses forever. ...just incredible filmmaking at it's finest. Bravo Mr. Six...this is a "feel good" film the likes of which comes around once a generation.

Well said. I am just awed by this timeless masterpiece and will be waiting in great anticipation for the the bittersweet "final sequence" with what I'm hoping will be not only an appropriate swan song for the centipede trilogy, but an anthem, a rallying cry if you will, for generations to come.

shareSorry man. Have to put E.T. In there. For sentimental value if nothing else. True story: The first film my parents brought me to as a child was E.T. (Yeah, I'm showing my age; big whoop, wanna fight about it?). When the film ended, I was apparently so affected by it that I started crying and saying "E.T. no go home" through my tears all the way out of the theater. I guess the other movie goers thought it was pretty funny. Anyhoo, E.T. has its place there for that reason alone.

Both this and Casablanca are in black & white, which to me puts them as equals above most of the other films you mentioned.
