Steven Segal must be retarded

"Born To Raise Hell" is yet another terrible straight to video crap that Segal is famous for these days.
Everybody knows his Hollywood career is long over and all his movies are so bad that it's hard to imagine why anyone would make such crap.
What puzzles me the most is the fact that Steven Segal also wrote the story and was the producer of this movie.
What was he thinking when he wrote this?
If a veteran action star starts writing his own scripts, one could think he feels he needs to do something different from his previous films. Maybe a better plot? Better dialogue? Anything really, but NO!
Steven Segal, after 25 years of starring in mostly bad action flicks, comes out and writes a movie of his own.
But it is excactly the same, as the previous and next one he starrs in.
Why is he doing this?
He obviously has the talent and charizma to star in better movies (Machete was a great example of Steven Segal's real potential) but he chooses to make continous crap.
