Movies that this masterpiece was better than

I've unfortunately haven't watched this masterpiece until 8 years after it was made. But alas, better late than never...a bit like God freeing his people after 400 years, amirite?

This movie blew me away! Bale and Edgerton were on top of their game. The roles of Sigourney Weaver and Ben Kingsley were even masterful, despite being minimal.

It was also a nice angle to show God in the form of a wrathful child, rather than an old man or a ghost. It also remained mostly faithful to the biblical version, which I had incorrectly heard otherwise, and was the reason why I never bothered watching it.

This movie is way better than anything else that's been released since, including:
