Dunst was robbed of an Oscar

for this phenomenal, career-making, transformative performance

To not even give her a nomination was a complete disgrace.

I think this ranks up there with weaver aliens and close dangerous Liasons. Awesome performance

Yes. I agree. From the openings first seconds in the bridal limo to the hand-holding Aunt Steelbreaker last moments....She captivates most deliciously. Many layers to explore in her character...I was amazed at her poignant and true portrayal of depression. I came away, like so many, feeling she was actually the Realist...she knew what was coming...found myself admiring her Calm, in the End. Such a great actor She is.

I agree as well! Her character was complex and it wasn't an easy movie to watch at times, but Dunst gave an incredible performance. I found myself irritated a lot during the first viewing, but the movie kept coming back to my mind afterwards. On the second watch I could appreciate how beautiful a film it was.
