Borgen VS The Killing - Which is better???

We just finished watching the final season of Forbrydelson last night and I have to say there will be a Sarah Lund shaped hole in my heart for the forseeable future. Would people who have seen both the series recommend Borgen as the next show to check out??

I'm purley jumping on the bandwagon here, it's a scandinavian show that is getting great reviews, I really know nothin else about it other than that. If I thought the killing was amazing would you say I'd like this. I've heard it's more politically based than The Killing , which usually isn't my scene, but the Political aspects of that show I did quite enjoy!!

Borgen is great! Better than The Killing! It's the best show on televison! Almost each episode is very big cinema. It is even better than Mad Men!

The Killing is a fairly routine procedural crime show (one of the better ones around at the moment but its not Cracker), while Borgen is a much richer drama in its characterisation and plotting. Definately one of the best political dramas I've seen for a long time.

I agree with the other posters: Borgen is a much better series than The Killing. It gets more interesting by each episode.
