Which is the better version of this show? The original Danish version or the British version with Kenneth Branagh?

Wallander is Swedish not Danish. And that is the best version of it. They have two versions and I think the one with Krister Henrikson is the best.

For sure Krister version is superb...and lots of them and making more right now.Butearlier Rolf ones are good to watch too.and Kenneth is just so powerful with his silences I'd never want to miss those either. As you may know the actress who played wallander daughter ...the Krister versions,,,,she, johanna salstrom, killed herself. Mankel could not write more stories with her featured.

There are several powerful episodes that hint or mess with her inner struggles, IMO

I meant MESH WITH her inner struggles.....Gus's mess works also. Such a tragic loss...
