Random thoughts at the end of season 2
Really enjoyed the second season and am looking forward to season 3. (Did I read that season 3 will be the last?)
1. The woman who plays Hanne must have been beautiful when she was younger, but her face is so wrecked now (considering she was born in 1958). Not too many American actresses would get work looking like she does (sad, but true). I'm guessing she spent too much time in the sun and has smoked one too many cigarettes. It doesn't help that Katrine is in almost all of her scenes, making the contrast between the two of them very apparent.
2. Kaspar said their monthly mortgage payment in the "palace" would be 33,000 kroner. That comes to about $6K per month, which is a big mortgage payment.
3. So glad Sanne is back; pity she had nothing to do in season 2.
4. Hilarious how the head of Laura's psychiatric hospital smoked a cigarette when she was speaking to Birgitte. In America there is no smoking anywhere on a hospital campus (including the sidewalks directly outside), let alone inside a hospital.
5. Does Birgitte own any casual clothing? I'm certain we have never seen her in jeans, let alone sweats or shorts. Even when she's at home she still wears hose and heels. At the end of the business day, most people would change out of their office clothes, but she never does. Very unrealistic.
6. Birgitte needs a new hairdo for season 3. Now that her hair is longer, the huge bun at the back of her head is starting to look very weird. There are a million other ways she could wear her hair long but still look professional.
