Laura's condition (Spoilers)
I'm finishing 2nd season and can't understand the way Brigitte and Philip confront their daughter's depression.
Up to now, neither of them has even once asked her in anything but in a superficial way what actually is her problem. Or sat with her for an in-depth discussion of it. Or anything any concerned parent would try under such circumstances.
What's more, when Laura refuses to take her medication (especially after finding she wasn't taking it), no one thought of asking her -why? After all, it's just a pill, right?
There might be lots of reasons for her behavior: a relationship or sex problem, drugs, mistreatment by someone etc etc. No one seems to care enough to dig it up.
Is this the way Scandinavian parents are treating their troubled children?
