The plot is not as tight as the first one

Jennifer Aniston really aged, then again she is 54, so that is understandable. Adam Sandler still looks like 40 something, so they start to look a bit weird together.

The way Miller and his men swam to island is weird, I mean what is wrong with boats? Why swim? Isn't that a lot slower?

How could Imani drive a truck and strike Miller's men at the right moment? With the benefit of hindsight I can see that is almost impossible.

How could Miller hide in the bomb proof chamber in a car hoping to fake death? Because bodies won't burn to ashes, the police won't be able to find his remains and declare him as dead. And that chamber is supposed to be made with Titanium and it would have acted as an oven and baked him to death.

And of course the 10,000 women and 2000 children claim of Francisco is just as ridiculous. Even without any protection those odds are not plausible.

So it felt less about being a detective movie, or a serious movie, more of an action comedy, it is just a bit of light entertainment.
